Zomg it feels like forever since I’ve made a blog post. And it has. xD Hopefully I can remember to start updating this more often, we’ll see. Tumblr really isn’t my main means of communication anyways, if I want to tell the world something I’ll do it via YouTube, seeing how I’m approaching 500 subs pretty quickly. :)
My 12 Days of Christmas project is going very well, I have all but Christmas Day recorded which should make getting videos to you guys less stressful! Yes, believe it or not, making videos can be stressful. :P I put a lot of work into my LPs! From editing in video transitions, to music, to captions, etc., there’s a lot of stuff that I’m sure a lot of my viewers don’t even think about. Basically, for every one minute of video I make, fifteen minutes of other stuff has to happen before it’s ready to be viewed. Be that editing, rendering, uploading, or processing.
Some thoughts about Minecraft Beta: a lot of people are criticizing Notch for a lackluster Beta. And for the most part, I’m with them. Usually when a game goes into Beta, it’s chock full of new features and awesomeness. Minecraft just didn’t have that. Server-side inventory? Decaying leaves? A use for eggs? The first two should have been in the game months ago, and throwing eggs can hardly be called a use. Yea, I know, it has a chance to spawn a chicken. Whoop-de-freakin’-do. Like I don’t have enough feathers taking up my inventory space. How about adding a recipe? Check the official Minecraft forums. You can find dozens, probably even a hundred mods that have added recipes to the game. And this is the best way to make use of eggs Notch can come up with? A gooey snowball? Ugh.
